DUR-O-BOND Pour-able KF1000 (Keel Filler)
KF1000 is an easily poured polyester compound. This polyester compound was specifically formulated for attaching the keel to the boat. It kept in mind keeping the boat a lightweight and offered the flexibility necessary to allow this process to be successful. It can also be used in between gel coat and the laminate layer for marine and industrial applications. This putty is great as a barrier coat, print barrier, core and wood replacement. KF1000 is a sufficient crack filler as well. This putty self-levels thus there will not be a need to spread it. It remains flexible after its cure, therefore it resists cracking. This putty can have adjusted dry times with the use of MEKP-9. Click on the TDS pdf below for more information.
KF1000 is best used as a keel filler, but can serve several other purposes as well.
